Welcome back to Winter Lights — and this year’s trail feels even more magical, with glowing tunnels, twinkling woodland corners and pools that shimmer under the night sky. As you wander, you’ll spot playful creatures tucked between the trees — and if you look closely, you may even catch sight of a mermaid in the water. Christmas in the Cotswolds is absolutely wonderful, isn’t it?

Santa Paws is officially on his way to Dobbies, and he can’t wait to meet all the good pups! Bring your four-legged friend along for a magical festive “sniff-ari” as they explore the grotto and search for Santa’s cheerful Christmas characters.
There are plenty of opportunities to capture the moment too, with professional photos available so you can treasure your pup’s visit forever. And of course, every well-behaved pooch will leave with a special gift from Santa himself. Booking is essential.
Tickets range from £10.50 to £12.50 per dog, depending on location.

The world-famous Bibury Duck Race is splashing back into action this Boxing Day! Wrap up cosy and head to the beautiful village of Bibury, where crowds gather each year to cheer on thousands of bright yellow ducks as they bob their way down the River Coln.
Whether you’re sponsoring a duck in hopes of a prize or simply watching the chaos unfold, the atmosphere is always full of festive fun. The main event sees around 3,000 rubber ducks released into the river — a cheerful spectacle that also helps raise money for local causes.
