7 Dog-Friendly Pumpkin Patches in the UK (2026 Guide)

Autumn and pumpkins go together like tea and biscuits! And if you’re planning a pumpkin-picking trip this year, there’s no reason your four-legged companion should have to stay at home.

From fields full of colourful pumpkins to tractor rides, Halloween activities and plenty of photo opportunities, pumpkin patches can make a lovely autumn day out with your dog. The only catch? Not every farm welcomes dogs, and some only allow them during selected sessions.

To help you plan your next autumn adventure, we’ve rounded up 7 dog-friendly pumpkin patches across the UK for 2026, from West Yorkshire and Essex to Devon and Warwickshire. We’ve included the dates, locations, ticket prices and dog policies, so you can find the right pumpkin patch for you and your pooch. As always, check the latest details before setting off, especially if you’re booking a particular session.

Now, let’s find that perfect pumpkin!

Tips for visiting dog-friendly pumpkin patches:

Before heading out on your pumpkin-picking adventure, here are a few things worth keeping in mind:

  • Check the dog policy before booking. Some pumpkin patches welcome dogs throughout the season, while others allow them only on selected dates or sessions.
  • Keep your dog on a lead. Pumpkin fields can be busy, with children, wheelbarrows, tractors and other dogs around.
  • Bring poo bags and water. A little preparation makes the visit more comfortable for everyone.
  • Be considerate around the pumpkins. Try to prevent your dog from chewing or damaging the crops, and follow any instructions from the farm team.
  • Check the weather and footwear. Fields can become muddy after rain, so wellies are often a good idea.
  • Book ahead. Popular sessions can sell out, and ticket prices and activities may vary.
