The Crossways, a 5-star dog-friendly accommodation in Somerset.
Address: Stocks Lane, North Wootton, Somerset, BA4 4EU.
Conveniently set in the heart of Somerset, just minutes from the city of Wells and Glastonbury, the Crossways is a nice 5-star accommodation at a price you’ll love. The city of Bath is 22 miles from the hotel.
The hotel offers 26 rooms, including new four poster rooms, double and twin rooms. We stayed with our cockapoo Winnie in a very spacious (I would say huge!) four poster room with a sofa bed and a modern bathroom with jetted whirlpool bath and rainforest shower. The room is really convenient for dog owners because of an external door to outside, so there is no need to walk through the hotel for your morning or evening walks.
It should be noted that the hoteloffers outstanding dinner options in an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant, coupled with excellent service and spectacular views towards the renowned Glastonbury Tor. They have special meal offers (honestly, we highly recommend it!) which are excellent value for money. Curry Night on every Thursday for only £12 per person. Delicious curry along with a complimentary glass of house wine or a pint of house beer. Steak Night on every Friday for just £16. The portion was enormous, including a house wine or a pint of house beer. The restaurant is also open to non-residents.
The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t look impressive from outside and there are no proper grounds around it. We would also recommend to provide rooms with dog-welcome packs. Apart from that, our stay was very comfortable and relaxing.

Dogs are very welcome in all areas, including a bar, but excluding the main restaurant.
Unfortunately, a dog welcome pack was not provided.
